IT System Administrator (m/f/d) at Prestbury location Bergisch Gladbach

A company in Bergisch Gladbach is looking for an IT system administrator (m/f/d) to join their team as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:

  • Administration and optimization of a cross-location network, firewalls, and server systems
  • Planning and implementation of network and server expansions and new solutions
  • System and network monitoring
  • Troubleshooting, problem solving, and documentation
  • Supporting colleagues from all departments with their daily IT challenges

What is expected of you:

  • Completed vocational training in the IT field or acquired knowledge through other means
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft environment (client, server, ActiveDirectory, Exchange, Office)
  • Network knowledge / routing / switching
  • Independent, customer-oriented, and structured work style with an open and friendly demeanor
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Linux is desirable but not mandatory
