    Description
    As a Pizza Cook at our high-end Italian restaurant, you will play a crucial role in upholding our reputation for authentic, delicious Italian cuisine. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of gourmet pizzas using traditional Italian techniques and high-quality ingredients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Italian cuisine, excellent culinary skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards.
    2. Hand-stretch pizza dough to achieve the perfect thickness and texture.
    3. Skillfully assemble pizzas with precision and attention to detail, ensuring even distribution of toppings.
    4. Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
    5. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection.
    6. Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
    7. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the pizza station and kitchen area.
    8. Assist with inventory management and ordering of pizza ingredients and supplies.
    9. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
    10. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new pizza recipes and menu offerings.
    11. Provide guidance and training to junior kitchen staff as needed.
    12. Uphold the restaurant's commitment to quality and consistency in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
    13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

    Qualification:

    1. Proven experience as a pizza cook or similar role in a high-volume, upscale restaurant.
    2. Solid understanding of traditional Italian pizza-making techniques and ingredients.
    3. Proficiency in hand-stretching pizza dough and operating pizza ovens.
    4. Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
    5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
    6. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a busy kitchen environment.
    7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
    8. Culinary degree or certification from a reputable culinary institution is a plus.
    9. Passion for Italian cuisine and a desire to continuously learn and improve culinary skills.
