    We are actively hiring for an Automotive Supply Chain and Packaging Operations Manager in Huntsville, AL.


    Duties:
    ~ Manage up to 25 associates in a two - three shift operation
    ~ Ensure 100% customer satisfaction through meeting performance goals. Effectively manage in key areas such as safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, human development, environment, attendance and turnover
    ~100% on time delivery
    ~100% satisfaction of quality standards
    ~100% correct sequencing while working jointly with customers and suppliers.
    ~ Ability to identify process improvements, modify existing work instructions and effectively communicate changes across a broad spectrum of team members
    ~ Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of operations of safely unloading and reloading, internal conveyance and sequencing of material
    ~ Ensure effective management and provide leadership and direction to team members, team leaders, group leaders and administrative staff
    ~ Ensure a robust training program is administered and transparent to the customer. Ensure all work instructions are documented, accurate to actual processes and all team members are trained and performing processes as expected
    ~ Establish a culture of safety; have advanced understanding of OSHA safety regulations and requirements
    ~ Implement changes to existing operation as needed
    ~ Ability to manage fast paced conveyance operation that includes MHE
    ~ Manages all aspects of logistics operations
    ~ Maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies located within the customers facility
    ~ Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain
    ~ Manage JIT inventory process from distribution to various requesting locations
    ~ Analyzes and configures warehouse, facility and dock layout to develop efficient picking and movement strategies based on customer requirements


    Qualifications:
    ~5+ years' experience in order management, production planning, packaging, inventory control, or distribution operations in a multi-facility environment
    ~ Operational leadership, TPS, LEAN, and Visual management experience is preferred.
    ~ Bachelor's Degree preferred
    ~ Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
    ~ Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    ~ Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing large teams
    ~ Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
    ~ A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
    ~ Excels at operating in a fast pace, customer centric environment
    ~ Commitment to get the job done
    ~ Ability to look at situations from several points of view
    ~ Persuasive with details and facts
    ~ Delegate responsibilities effectively
