    Vendor Direct Solutions, LLC (VDS) is a market leader in law firm organization, information management, consulting, recruiting, and outsourcing. We are currently seeking a full-time Law Firm Administrative Assistant on behalf of a private employer in the Beverly Hills/West Los Angeles area.

    The Law Firm Administrative Assistant would support and work closely with the Firm Administrator to perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to facilitate the efficient operation of the law firm.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • General law office administrative duties including answering/making calls, filing, data entry and handling of Administrator's incoming/outgoing mail
    • Scanning and/or copying documents as needed
    • Updating various system databases as needed
    • Assist with benefits administration
    • Scheduling appointments and maintaining administrator's calendar
    • Provide general support to the other administrative staff including inquiries on vendor invoices, requesting insurance certificates on existing accounts and general data entry
    • Work cooperatively with various levels of legal assistants, paralegals, attorneys, partners, managing partners, and administration
    • Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Previous law firm experience, preferably assisting office manager/administrator
    • Basic knowledge of HR functions related to the state of California
    • Familiarity with the litigation process
    • Experience with accounting and timekeeping software
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
    • Experience with Microsoft operating systems and applications
    • Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines
