Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team. This individual will be working 2nd Shift, part-time, in the Shipping Department of a Corrugated Manufacturing plant. The hours are from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for accurately processing outgoing shipments, ensuring that all items are properly accounted for. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient shipping operations.
Duties:
- Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision with commitment to excellence and high standards
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility and Flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely shipment of products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Experience:
- Previous experience in a shipping role preferred
- Be able to use a computer or tablet, mouse, keyboard and handheld scanner
- General Shop Math and Tape Measure Reading
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Experience with Encore is a plus, but will train
- Knowledge of loading trucks
- Supervisor experience is a plus
- Bilingual is a plus
