    Description


    Having 11+ years of professional experience in Data-warehouse, SQL Server Development and BI tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) and Power BI.

    Having good experience over T-SQL statements and having three years of experience in pl/sql.
    Created stored procedures, triggers, UDFs, views, tables, and generated T-SQL script for application.

    Design and Configure new Pizza, Sides, beverage products using Webtools and Crafter and Design, Develop & Test Enhancements for new products & Promotions configuration Changes on web applications.

    Good understanding in Data Marts and Data Warehousing concepts (OLTP & OLAP) and worked with Data mining and slowly changing dimensions (SCD).

    Extensive experience in database tuning, server logins and database permissions.
    Creating and monitoring jobs for automating daily tasks like backups, checking integrity of databases, updating statistics.

    Experience in creating and managing fragmentation of Indexes to achieve better query performance that increases my ability in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization.

    Experience in building Star schema and Snowflake schema depending on business requirements.

    Proficient in using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to build Data Integration and Workflow Solutions, Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) solutions for Data base applications.

    Manage SSIS packages, stored procedures, jobs, and utilize Server-Side tracing to identify performance issues with deadlocks & other locking issues.

    Proficient in designing and developing SSRS reports such as Parameterized, Linked, Snapshot, Cached, Ad-hoc, Click-through, Drill-down, Drill-through, and Sub reports.

    Working with sql server agent jobs to call and schedule SSIS packages.

    Generated various reports using Power BI desktop and shared them using Power BI Service to the decision makers in the organization for strategic planning.

    Explored data in a variety of ways and across multiple visualizations like Pie Chart, Bar Charts, Donut Chart and Line Graphs etc.

    Strategic expertise in design of experiments, data collection, analysis and visualization.

    Utilized slicers and various filters to create different analytical dashboards that depicts critical KPIs enabling end users to make interactive analysis.

    Experience in creating Calculated Columns and Calculated Measures using various DAX queries as part of the Data modelling in Power BI reports.

    Implemented Power BI On-Premises data gateway for multiple users to share and analyze Power BI reports and Dashboards.
    Working knowledge in Agile/Scrum Environment and used TFS team foundation server for source control.
    Excellent skills in understanding business needs and providing technical solutions.

    Good experience in creating OLAP cubes, identifying dimensions, attributes, hierarchies and calculating measures and dimension members in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).

    To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussionsorreview as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).

    To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
    To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity

    To be responsible for providing technical guidance or solutions ;define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
