Job Opportunity:

The experienced Underwriter will be responsible for expanding and developing new Hospital relationships, as well as growing a renewal book, through production & marketing calls with brokers and customers.

Our underwriters analyze Healthcare Professional risks with broad opportunity for production across the Healthcare Industry Segment and collaborate with BHSI business units:
Cyber, D&O, Property, Transactional Liability, and others.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Production Underwriting of Healthcare PL: primary, umbrella, excess, reinsurance
Broad Professional liability underwriting experience in Healthcare preferred
Conducting broker and insured meetings including travel
Establishing, developing, and expanding broker relationships
Learning and selling new healthcare products as they are introduced

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Hospital and/or Outpatient underwriting/insurance experience
3+ years of experience preferred
Position located in BHSI office in Atlanta, Boston, New York or Chicago.
Large account Underwriting and client experience preferred
Strong underwriting acumen, effective communication, and negotiation skills
Motivated, adaptable, analytical, and collaborative
Proven leadership and record of effective execution
BS/BA Degree or equivalent work experience
