    Description

    PRIMARY GOAL OF THE ROLE:

    Lead and manage operations at the Club Level to ensure profitability, cost control, and quality standards, ultimately guaranteeing guest satisfaction. As the Assistant Club Level Manager, you should be well-versed in Langham brand standards and Forbes service guidelines and effectively communicate these to the team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

    • Guest Service:
      • Warmly greet members and guests, promptly addressing inquiries and concerns.
      • Anticipate and fulfill guest needs to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
      • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues efficiently.
    • Staff Management:
      • Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising Lounge staff while ensuring compliance with Company policies, Langham Brand, and Forbes standards.
      • Efficiently schedule staff shifts for optimal coverage during peak hours.
      • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance staff performance and customer service.
    • Operations Management:
      • Supervise daily Club Lounge operations, including opening/closing procedures and inventory control.
      • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Lounge area for a pleasant guest experience.
      • Collaborate with Kitchen and Bar staff for efficient food and beverage service.
    • Administrative Tasks:
      • Assist in managing Lounge budgets and expenses, monitoring costs and revenues.
      • Keep accurate inventory records and place orders to restock supplies as needed.
    • Safety and Compliance:
      • Ensure compliance with health, safety regulations, and company policies.
      • Train staff in emergency procedures for guest and employee safety.
      • Regularly inspect the Lounge for safety hazards and maintenance issues.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Significant walking or standing.
    • Ability to lift 20 lbs.

    SPECIAL SKILLS NEEDED:

    • Proficiency in computer systems for registration, reservations, and backups.
    • Previous experience in hospitality.
    • Above-average mathematical skills for hotel operations.
    • Excellent customer service skills exceeding Brand and Forbes standards.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory and cost control.
    • Flexibility to work various shifts as required.

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    High school diploma or equivalent. Degree or certification in hospitality management preferred.

    EXPERIENCE:

    Minimum of 2-3 years as Assistant/Manager in a luxury hotel Front Office.

    LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:

    CPR Certification and/or First Aid Training preferred.

    Government-required licenses or certificates as needed.
