Summary:
Fantasy Springs Resort Casino is seeking a Lead Revenue Accounting Clerk to report directly to the Revenue Accounting Manager.
The Lead Revenue Accounting Clerk is responsible for either the auditing of daily activity and/or ensuring compliance with Title 31, IRS and MICS/TICS requirements.
Additional responsibilities will include overseeing Revenue Accounting Clerk(s) in performing their individual tasks efficiently and effectively.The Lead Revenue Accounting Clerk will assist the Revenue Accounting Manager and the Casino Controller with their day-to-day operational duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Performing duties that will include a combination of: conducting accurate and timely daily audit of revenue generated by gaming (Slots, Table Games, OTB and Bingo) and nongaming (Bowling and Box Office) operations.
- Conducting a daily cage audit; ensuring the accuracy of all transactions and accompanying documents received from the casino Cage Operations; preparing bingo inventory count and reconciling bingo inventory; preparing statistical reports for table games and slot machine.
- Reviewing audit work; preparing and distributing daily operating report; helping maintain control of documents to ensure their proper distribution/filing; ensuring compliance with NIGC MICS and CBMI TICS; and performing related duties as assigned.
- Overseeing Revenue Accounting Clerks. Assisting the Revenue Accounting Manager and Casino Controller with operational duties.
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and 10key (by touch).
- Previous Accounting experience and/or education preferred. Casino experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of NIGC MICS preferred. Knowledge of ACSC system a plus.
- Displays the ability to multitask.
- Must be able to work well independently and with others.
- Possess good organizational, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills. Detail and deadline oriented.
Work Environment:
Employees working the Casino or Bowling Center may be exposed to second-hand smoke and moderate levels of noise.
