Summary:

We are seeking a skilled C++ Programmer to join our team for current and future real-time strategy (RTS) game projects in Beechwood Village. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing high-level direction, organizing time and priorities, and is willing to be hands-on with day-to-day development. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience in the video game industry and a strong passion for RTS and RPG games. Additionally, we value strong soft skills, such as being a reliable and patient team member who can effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-programmers.

Some of your responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Designers, Producers, Artists, and the Audio team to bring our game vision to life and exceed expectations
  • Support Art and Gameplay features and establish efficient workflows
  • Understand and communicate the trade-offs between technical and design choices to create the best player experience
  • Work with production staff and other leads to assign engineering tasks and create schedules for multiple programming and technology disciplines

    • Desired qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in C++ programming
  • Experience working with proprietary game engines
  • Familiarity with best practices for PC and console game development
  • Excellent written
