    Requirements

    Job Summary:

    Barton Cotton Graphics is currently seeking an experienced Cost Estimator - Printing and Mailing. A successful candidate will be highly motivated, and business minded. This is a fast paced, high-volume environment requiring strong math skills and computer literacy. This position provides both pricing and technical support to our customer service staff. The ideal candidate will have experience estimating multi-color sheet-fed print, digital print, bindery, finishing, mailing, and fulfillment services.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    • None
    Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Reports to and works under the direction of the Estimating Supervisor
    • Maintain estimating standards and procedures.
    • Consult with sales, clients, vendors, and personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate cost estimates.
    • Request and negotiate pricing with outside vendors.
    • Analyze requests and prepare time, cost, material and labor estimates.
    • Assist with invoicing and inter-company billing.
    • Identify and explain variances between actual and estimated cost.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.
    Required Skills/Abilities:
    • Strong math and analytical skills with attention to detail.
    • ePS iQuote or similar estimating workflow experience preferred.
    • Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work under tight time constraints to meet deadlines.
    Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree or three years of equivalent print estimating experience
    Requirements:
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Must be able to pass a background check
