Position Overview

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Satisfactory problemsolving skills to help resolve customer complaints or needs

  • Uptodate understanding of the industry's consumer behavior

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Conduct regular meetings and checkins with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on services, and address any concerns.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to offer additional products and services based on client needs.

Insurance and Benefits Expertise:


  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of insurance products, including health, life, disability, and supplemental insurance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments that may impact clients' insurance and benefits needs.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to clients regarding employee benefits and coverage options.

Account Management:


  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and operations, to deliver seamless service to clients.
  • Track key performance metrics to achieve targets.
  • Coordinate onsite/virtual logistics including scheduling and travel.

Client Advocacy:


  • Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers to facilitate the resolution of complex issues.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients to resolve issues related to billing.
  • Provide proactive support during the enrollment process, assisting clients in navigating procedures and ensuring timely resolution.

Qualifications:


  • Account management software (such as, Employee Navigator, Ease, Paycomm)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management or client service roles within the insurance or benefits industry.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, compliance, and benefits administration systems.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining longterm client relationships.
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
