As one of the largest service and purchasing communities in the German healthcare sector, we are a holistic strategic partner for our 55 member hospitals and their more than 230 affiliated facilities.

The annual turnover mediated for our members is over 1.2 billion euros.

We are currently seeking a full-time Strategic Purchaser (m/f/d) for the areas of orthopedics, traumatology, spine, and neuromodulation to join our team at our headquarters in Cologne or in a home office with willingness to travel.

Your responsibilities will include contract and supplier management, building and maintaining strategic partnerships, developing and reviewing framework agreements with contract partners, leading and negotiating prices, conducting market, profitability, and potential analyses, monitoring and regulating sales developments, preparing European tenders and procurement procedures, developing legally compliant performance specifications in dialogue with users and the procurement department, analyzing incoming offers, and providing support and communication to member facilities.

We are looking for candidates with a commercial education or a degree in health economics, ideally with several years of experience in responsible positions in hospital procurement, an orthopedic operating room, medical device sales, specifically in the areas of orthopedics, traumatology, spine, and neuromodulation, or with a renowned service provider in the healthcare industry.

Strong communication and negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and customer-oriented and professional demeanor are essential. The role also requires
