Position: Operations Specialist
Company: James Air Cargo Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Dynamo: Accurately input and manage data related to freight, drivers, and shipments.
Dispatch Wizard: Efficiently dispatch drivers on optimal routes, ensuring timely and successful deliveries.
Routing Maestro: Develop and optimize freight routing plans for maximum efficiency.
Driver Whisperer: Provide support to drivers, addressing issues and maintaining open communication.
Closing Virtuoso: Execute end-of-day operations, reconcile shipments, and prepare for the next day.

Warehouse Warrior:

Enter freight warehouses, locate, label, and organize shipments.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate tracking and handling.

Freight Guardian:

Monitor and ensure accurate routing and on-time deliveries.
Verify the successful delivery, recovery, and drop-offs of all shipments.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in logistics or operations preferred.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in data entry and computer applications.
Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 5:00 pm until operations are completed (approximately 8:00 pm).

Salary/Benefits:

Weekly pay.
Paid time off after 1st-year.

From there the company grew by working with airlines. With no advertising, James Air Cargo was added to an airline brochure for delivery agents in Cleveland, and combined with word of mouth grew the business into what it is today.
