    Respiratory Therapist

    • Sign-on-Bonus $20,000
    • Location: Continuity Care Hospital, Temple Texas
    • Schedule: Full-Time Nights (36 hours per week)

      POSITION OVERVIEW
      The Registered Respiratory Therapist will collaborate within a dynamic team environment to enhance patient care and outcomes through the application of various respiratory therapies and techniques.

      RESPONSIBILITIES

      Provide and oversee respiratory care services, such as oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, ventilation, and more, in alignment with established protocols and procedures. Perform CPR in critical situations.

      Adhere to organizational policies including infection control, HIPAA, and time management.

      Collaborate effectively with colleagues and patients to ensure a positive work environment and outcomes.

      Be proactive in developing skills and expertise to meet job requirements.

      Prioritize continuous improvement in delivering quality patient care.

      KEY QUALIFICATIONS

      Proficiency in Respiratory Care modalities, therapies, and equipment.
      Ability to follow protocols and procedures accurately.
      Strong problem-solving abilities.
      Basic computer skills including data entry and medical documentation.

      REQUIREMENTS

      - EDUCATION: Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
      - EXPERIENCE: Less than 1 year
      - CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
      Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
      Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in Texas.
      Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification by the National Board Respiratory Care.
