    Description


    My client is seeking a highly motivated Junior Environmental Engineer/Geologist to join our San Francisco office and contribute to our continued success.

    At this employee-owned firm, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging projects, from groundwater assessment and remediation to environmental impact assessments.

    Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping our clients make informed decisions to protect and manage their water resources effectively.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Collaborating with multi-disciplinary project teams.
    Drafting contract documents, plans, and technical specifications.
    Creating technical reports and various deliverables.
    Conducting engineering calculations and technical analyses. Coordinating with client representatives, regulatory agencies, and technical subconsultants.
    Overseeing construction-phase engineering support, including submittal reviews and requests for information.
    Conducting design and construction field observation activities.

    Qualifications:


    Possession of a bachelor's or master's degree in civil or environmental engineering, with a preference for candidates with a master's degree.

    Relevant professional experience of 2-5 years, encompassing tasks such as planning, crafting design plans and technical specifications, and overseeing construction or providing engineering support for water, wastewater, recycled water, and/or stormwater projects.

    Proficiency in information technology, with the capability to obtain a California Civil Engineering P.E. license within a minimum of 2 years.
    Candidates with a current California Civil Engineering P.E. license are preferred.
    Demonstrated effective communication skills, both written and oral.
    Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to technical details.
    Computer literacy, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is highly desirable.
