ProCare Therapy is searching for a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for Arlington PublicSchoolsnear Springfield, VA, for the school year. Job Details:

Position: Special Education Teacher
Location: Springfield, VA
Hours:35+ hours per week

Qualifications:

Experience in the following preferred:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education
VirginiaSPED Teaching Certification
Previous experience in a SPED role is preferred
Familiar with IEP's and EDP's

Responsibilities:

MIPA and Life Skills classes
Mild-Moderate & Moderate-Severe caseload
Teach, work with students, paraprofessionals, families, other staff, take data.
Update IEP goals, assess students and write up the assessment report.
Write IEPs, attend IEP meetings, present the assessment results.
