About the company:


  • Our client is a technicalscientific association with over 500 members at multiple locations in Germany. The focus is on questions of building technology and its further development. This includes promoting science and research through consultations, events, publications, and committee work.

Your tasks:


  • Recording and verifying incoming and travel expense reports, as well as coordinating the approval process
  • Posting and booking ongoing business transactions
  • Preparation of payment transactions and booking of bank transactions
  • Creation of outgoing invoices
  • Account clarification/reconciliation
  • Preparation of VAT returns and summary reports
  • Participation in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
  • Support of internal projects for process optimization
  • Maintenance of master data

Your profile:


  • Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification
  • Relevant professional experience in accounting for nonprofit organizations
  • Good knowledge of nonprofit, commercial, and VAT law
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Negotiation skills in German
  • Experience with Addison and Lexware as well as knowledge of association law are advantageous
  • Independent, structured, and resultsoriented work style
