    Description

    Summary

    The incumbent reports to the Chief and Assistant Chief of the Service and 11 Subspecialty Section Chiefs, and coordinates all human resources aspects of Medical Service, operating in a two-division facility. Medical Service has an active teaching program through its academic affiliation with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

    Duties

  • Provides comprehensive resources allocation information to support decisions involving human resources.
  • Principle functions include collaborating with Chief, Assistant Chief, 11 Subspecialty Chiefs, and the Administrative Officer of the Service in the development and maintenance of the service's overall administrative and human resource programs.
  • provides fact-finding analytical work necessary to make recommendations, commitments, and decisions, that will ultimately resolve problems or improve existing processes.
  • Compiles and maintains service organizational and functional charts along with FTE supplemental log, and ceiling FTE changes within the service.
  • Processes and coordinates all "without compensation" appointments.
    • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, subject to change based on the needs of the agency.
