Description

This local SaaS company is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to drive their technical program forward. They need someone to spearhead a highly technical position that spans many aspects of security, including vulnerability management, security automation, threat hunting, tool configurations, and more. If you are looking for an opportunity to get your hands on many aspects of security while having ownership over a security program and its tech stack, read on

Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of professional experience in cyber security. A systems administrator background would be a huge plus, but threat hunting and blue team experience is required. The more jack-of-all-trades you are, the better, as long as you have the technical chops to back it up. They are also going through the FedRAMP process right now, so any experience there would be a huge plus. Required Skills & Experience

At least 5 years of professional experience in cyber security
Ability to obtain a top secret clearance (ship, clear background and drug tests). You do NOT need to have the clearance already. You just need to be eligible.
Threat hunting experience
Knowledge of NIST
Defensive security experience
- SIEM configurations
- Vulnerability management
- Log analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

"Nice to Have" Skills & Experience

Automation experience (Perl or Python)
Secure code review experience
CORBIT or FedRAMP experience
Sys admin background/Linux or Windows experience
Any relevant security certifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
