Work Structure:
Hybrid (Maui-based) – Home office + in-territory client meetings, with weekly team meetings in Wailuku
Compensation:
$50,000-$65,000 base salary + uncapped commission
OTE:
$90,000-$120,000+ (base + commission; higher with renewals and account growth)
Territories:
West Maui (1 role)
- Central Maui / South Maui / Upcountry / North Shore (1 role)

With established print distribution spanning 30 years in leading resorts, a mainland distribution network and a growing digital presence, the magazine connects Maui businesses to a high-value local and global audience.
The RoleMaui Nō Ka ʻOi Magazine is hiring two full-time Advertising Account Managers to build and manage portfolios of advertising accounts across Maui – one focused on West Maui and one covering Central Maui, South Maui, Upcountry and the North Shore.
Each position is a revenue-producing role with defined revenue goals.You will prospect new business, maintain client relationships, present print and digital advertising and event sponsorship opportunities, close sales, and renew and expand accounts for recurring revenue.
These are Maui-based hybrid roles.You will work from your home office, spend significant time meeting clients throughout your assigned territory, and attend weekly team meetings in Wailuku.
ResponsibilitiesProspect, pitch, close, and renew advertising accounts to meet defined revenue targets
Build and manage your pipeline from outreach through close
Lead sales conversations that identify client needs and present clear advertising solutions
Maintain disciplined outreach by phone, email, and in-person
Track pipeline, activity, and renewals in CRM
Represent the magazine at client meetings and select community events
Manage and expand resort and on-property distribution partnerships within your territory
What You Can Expect
Direct revenue responsibility with defined performance expectations
Access to established advertiser relationships and introductions
Uncapped commissions on new business + renewals → significant recurring income potential
Recurring income potential through account growth
Full-time role with flexibility aligned to business hours
Creative and production support from editorial, design and digital teams
Qualifications
Proven ability to generate and grow revenue in a relationship-based sales role
Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable initiating proactive outreach and conducting in-person meetings
Strong organization, follow-through and accountability
Familiarity with CRM systems and digital advertising concepts
Knowledge of Maui's business community, resort or tourism sectors strongly preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Dedicated home office workspace and ability to work independently
