We are looking for an HRIS System Manager to join our team This position is based in Riverside, CA but will require weekly travel to Cypress, CA


General Responsibility:


Significant Duties:


  • Coordinate training team by scheduling travel and arranging employee groups.
  • Maintain current knowledge of CA & NV law requirements.
  • Be the resident expert on legal compliance for wage and hour rules, especially piece pay.
  • Provide support to the training team via phone or onsite visits.
  • Draft, review, and update business standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Document flow of business transactions using Microsoft Visio.
  • Responsible for composing business reports using report writer in HCM System
  • Analyze user requirements and write developer programming specifications.
  • Provide developers with communication requirements and manage the development process.
  • Responsible for overseeing the testing of business systems and program modifications for correctness and completeness of transaction processing functions as well as overall system capabilities.
  • Interact with HCM Vendor personnel, programmers, and other technologyrelated personnel
  • Collaborate with internal implementation team members to ensure accurate database configuration.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot Time & Attendance issues.
  • Manage/ oversee the scheduling and responsibilities of field support staff.
  • Ability to translate time and attendance training documents from English to Spanish
  • Investigate, analyze, and recommend solutions for internal needs, collaborate with leadership and technical support to eliminate recurring issues.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology is a plus.
  • 3+ years HR experience, including performance management, leave of absence, benefits administration, full cycle of payroll, and recruitment.
  • California Class C Driver License, with good DMV record is required.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in Spanish is required.
  • Able to build relationships with internal and external business contacts required.
  • Able to influence with or without authority at all levels of the business.
  • Strong timemanagement skills required. Able to maintain professional composure under tight deadlines or sensitive situations.
  • Strong leadership and training skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Knowledge of payroll Federal & State laws required.
  • Computer proficient with HRIS experience
  • Advanced Excel skills are required, as are skills with all Microsoft Office programs. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive questions and complaints Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be able to use critical thinking to effectively solve human resource issues.
  • Attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Selfmotivated and follows direction of supervisors, but also able to work without constant direct supervision
  • Excellent verbal/ written communications skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex content and documents.

Physical Requirements:


  • The position of HRIS System Manager requires that you be able to lift objects that weight up to 15 pounds, squat, kneel, twist, bend, and work above head and below waist.
    Ability to sit long periods, stand, walk, climb stairs and use of hands, fingers, wrists, and arms.
