Job Summary:


The Director of Engineering is responsible for overseeing all software development for the company while mentoring and managing a skilled development team.

The Director is expected to lead the development and product teams in designing and implementing innovative, and cutting-edge healthcare software while adhering to budgetary guidelines.

The Director also works closely with the sales, product management, marketing, and operations teams to set the architectural direction for our products.

In addition, the Direct is responsible for disseminating the status of projects across departments and maintaining a detailed roadmap with fixed timelines.

This executive leadership role should be a beacon reflecting our cultural values.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Lead, mentor, and support a highly effective team of passionate software engineers fostering a highperformance culture.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the product vision is realized through excellence in execution.
  • Provide technical leadership across functional teams, including product management, UX/UI design, QA, and DevOps.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implementing processes and tools to enhance engineering efficiency.
  • Participate in strategic planning meetings with product management, architecture, and design.
  • Conduct indepth technical reviews, providing feedback on architecture, design, and code quality.
  • Solve complex software engineering tasks while maintaining coding standards and practices.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional stakeholders to define and execute the technology roadmap.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and best practices.
  • Assure that assigned departments achieve objectives and project completion within budget and time frame.
  • Ensure proper QA on all development prior to release.
  • Prepare and optimize development budgets.
  • Perform additional jobrelated duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the company.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Manager or Director of Engineering or similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering or similar degree preferred. Experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Experienced in the following tech stacks, languages, and frameworks:
  • Languages: SWA, PHP, Python, Kotlin (Android apps), Swift (IOS apps), JAVA, C#...
  • Frameworks:NET, React(Next.
JS), Django, Odoo, Chromium, WebRTC

  • An extensive understanding of the Chromium framework, WebRTC and RTSP communications stack.
  • Expert in DevOps and Agile process, QA and SWA.
  • Expert in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
  • Champion Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) for efficient software development.
  • Handson experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Gov Cloud.
  • Ability to design, deploy, and manage cloudbased software.
  • Experience in both frontend and backend development.
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects from conception to production.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google, Gov Cloud).
  • Passion for staying uptodate with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
