Assistant Field Manager, you will be working closely with Operations manager overseeing lawn crews are achieving daily production goals, ensure crews are using proper techniques in spring cleanups, edging, dethatching of lawns, weekly mowing, and fall cleanups. Assist in scheduling of lawn care, mowing and mulch crews. Assist in quality control site visits. Assist with irrigation seasonal adjustments


Job Responsibilities:

• Identify lawn issues and communicate with supervisor
• Ability to operate ride on spreader and ride on aerator
• Ability to keep track of all job times and materials
• Experience driving a dump truck with enclosed trailer
• Experience with Irrigation small repairs(dripline breaks and broken heads in lawn) and clock management is a plus
• Assist in training crews with spring cleanups, edging all beds and hardscape, dethatch lawns, fall cleanups.
• Familiarity with Lawn Maintenance Equipment
• Good communication skills and problem solving skills
• Daily and weekly checklists and inspections of truck, trailer and equipment.
• Communicate with operations manager on any issues (on property, with equipment, etc.).
• Keep track of all lawn care inventory( fertilizers.pesticides ,weed control ,etc.)

Job Requirements:

• Field experience (2yrs. preferred) in mowing and property maintenance
• 12 years minimum pesticide and fertilizer license
• Strong understanding of lawn maintenance/landscaping practices.
• Proficient in tools/safety/landscaping needs
• A valid driver's license is required with clean record to drive company vehicles.
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
• Ability to obtain DOT medical certificate.
• Willingness to work in all types of weather and ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Quality control and attention to detail
