This may include any of the following design requirements:Company rebranding logos, business cards, business stationary, forms, banners, and window graphic design.


Must have experience designing files for print (Bleed, Crop Marks and Imposition) as well as using all of the bindery equipment to produce a finished job.


Print shop experience is required.

  • Work with relevant design related programs, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Layout and manipulate various projects based on the customer's needs.
  • Understand different file types: Bitmap vs. Vector, JPG, PNG, EPS, PDF, etc.
  • Manage projects that involve a wide range of highquality printing and communication services.
  • Preparing files for print production; checking fonts, links and colors, and imposing art when required. (Setting files multiple up with cut marks)
  • Review job specification from work orders and ensure that client files are accurate to produce jobs.
  • Develop and maintain client library files / file handling.
  • Responsible for the use of digital copiers/presses to setup and produce customer jobs.
  • Operate copiers/printers and finish materials. Includes cutting flyers/business cards, processing mailers, binding books, folding brochures, padding notepads, ect.
  • Working with and preparing PDF files.
  • Submitting files and placing orders with vendors.
  • Preparing/packaging and shipping completed jobs.
  • Maintain an orderly work area.
  • Have experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Have a proven track record or working with clients to produce artwork that meets their requirements.
  • Have strong layout and design skills, prepress experience and bindery/finishing experience.
  • Have excellent people skills and communication skills. Positive and friendly.
  • Be able to work independently and be able to multitask/handle several client jobs at the same time.
  • Experience with Fiery Command WorkStation.
  • Experience with Xerox or Konica is preferred.
  • FedEx Office, Staples Print/Copy Center, UPS Store Experience Very Helpful.

Pay:
$47, $54,080.00 per year


Weekly day range:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

Print Shop: 2 years (preferred)

  • Graphic design: 2 years (preferred)
  • Managerial: 2 years (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Vienna, VA 22182: Relocate before starting work (required)
