C/C++ Software Engineer - Remote position in Germany - HPC

An exciting new opportunity for experienced HPC (High Performance Computing) Software Engineers to join a highly successful and growing HPC developer and integrator in Duneland Beach. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of software used to manage some of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe.

This company develops software for public and private sector organizations across Europe that are implementing large-scale supercomputing solutions, often ranking within the HPC Top500 list. Due to their expanding client base, they are seeking experienced HPC Software Engineers to assist in designing and developing software for managing Linux-based supercomputing clusters.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong C/C++ programming skills at the system level
  • Experience with multi-threaded programming
  • Knowledge of socket programming (TCP/IP, UDP/IP)

In addition, any experience with the following would be beneficial but not required:

  • MPI
  • Linux kernel programming
  • CUDA, OpenCL, and/or OpenACC
  • Infiniband

While this company has physical offices in Munich and near Cologne, they are open to hiring HPC Software
