Position Summary:

This position is responsible for stocking and maintaining the storerooms and bathrooms with sufficient supplies and cleaning chemicals.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

includes but not limited to:

Maintains inventory control
Stocks equipment and any other items stored in the EVS storerooms
Issues radios and batteries
Launders mop heads and rags

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

Previous stockroom experience and knowledge of cleaning supplies and chemicals
Must be able to communicate effectively in English in both writing and reading skills
Must have basic math skills and data entry experience

Competencies:
Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

Determines proper storage methods, identification and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities
Knowledge of Stratton Warren software

Training Requirements:

Completes EVS Training Module which encompasses proper use of chemicals and safety procedures
Ability to use various types of cleaning and stocking equipment as directed by management
Knowledge of proper infection control and blood borne pathogens procedures and precautions

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to work in a casino environment with smoke, loud noises and low lighting
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Must be available to work various shifts and flexible hours
