Position Information

The Category Manager Electronics (m/f/d) for electronic components at Agile Robots SE will be an integral part of our Supply Chain team.

You will be responsible for procurement, purchasing, and strategic management of electronic components needed for our robotic systems.

This role is crucial in ensuring the availability of high-quality components and optimizing our supply chain to support our rapid growth.

Your Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement:

Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy for electronic components to ensure a stable and costeffective supply chain
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and build longterm relationships with key partners
Continuously assess market trends, prices, and technological advancements as a basis for procurement decisions

Supply Chain Optimization:

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to forecast component needs and plan production requirements
Implement strategies to mitigate risks in the supply chain, including dualsourcing, safety stocks, and alternative component solutions
Drive initiatives to reduce lead times, increase flexibility, and improve overall supply chain efficiency

Cost Management:

Monitor component costs, identify costsaving opportunities, and negotiate favorable terms and prices
Manage and track the budget for electronic components and ensure compliance with financial goals
Evaluate and implement value enhancement and cost reduction initiatives

Quality and Compliance:

Ensure electronic components meet quality and compliance standards, including industry certifications and legal requirements
Collaborate with quality control teams to promptly resolve any componentrelated issues
Develop and maintain documentation related to component specifications and quality standards
