The Team & Role

This is an in office position, so you'll be working primarily out of the office in Redwood City, CA. This location is our headquarters, it's filled with employees from all teams including senior executives.

The location also is the hosting location for worldwide all hands meeting events - this role will work to support the teams hosting these events.

What you'll do

  • Provide day to day technical support to users in both in the office and remote, helping them with their laptops, zoom room setups, accessories, collaboration whiteboards and workspace management tools
  • Support your peers on the site services team around the world in our internal ticketing system
  • Solve technical issues and problems across the office landscape
  • Work with leadership on the overall plan for hardware and software in the office
  • Collaborate with other teams to provide support for organized functions in the office that require online streaming
  • Assist teams in the development and testing of new technical solutions in the office
  • Prepare hardware setups for new incoming employees and conduct training sessions to help employees get started with their equipment
  • Install, upgrade and configure systems to ensure a top notch user experience
  • Conduct user training sessions when required to help them make the best use of our technology investments
  • Engage and support our executive leadership when they have issues with their technology solutions
  • Maintain an overall high quality security posture for the enterprise environment
  • We do our best to maintain broad worldwide support coverage, however at times may be asked to participate in oncall duties
Your experience

  • 5+ years of handson IT support experience
  • 5+ years supporting macOS and Windows devices
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
  • Experience supporting a large heterogeneous SaaS environment such as Okta, Google Workspace, Salesforce and Kandji
  • Experience in troubleshooting technical issues and solving in both onsite and remote environments
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with urgency and collaboratively within a team
  • A strong desire to learn
  • Ability to lift or carry desktop computers up to 25 lbs

Nice to haves:

  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards
  • Exposure to collaboration hardware and software including Zoom and
  • Experience with Active Directory and networking concepts
