    Description

    LHH Recruiting Solutions is currently in search of a skilled and experienced Family Law Litigation Legal Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and will be responsible for providing administrative support to our legal team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist attorneys in all phases of family law litigation, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
    • Organize and maintain case files, including electronic and physical files
    • Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, and depositions
    • Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case law
    • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
    • Prepare and file court documents, including e-filing
    • Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness materials
    • Perform other administrative tasks as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a family law legal assistant
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Attention to detail and accuracy

    Pay Details: $58,000 to $65,000 based on experience

    Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan. Our benefit offerings provide employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs. In addition, our associates may be eligible for paid leave including Paid Sick Leave or any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable.
