- Applies engineering and scientific principles in such technical fields as mechanics, electronics, flight technology, structures, chemistry, metallurgy, mathematics, and computer science.
- Responsible for creating product work instructions and being the technical lead for production hardware.
- May conduct or participate in portions of studies, investigations or analyses involving reliability, predictability, value engineering; or quality assurance problems including hardware and software projects.
- Responsible for troubleshooting, dispositioning non-conforming hardware, and providing root cause and corrective action.
- Continuously strives to improve processes & techniques
- Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other related documents.
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, across functional area
- Possesses advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Drives for results to establish Root Cause & Positive Corrective Actions
- Experience with CAD software for 3D models and 2D drawings (SolidWorks preferred)
- Quantitative analysis skills using Excel and other software tools
- Drives for results, action oriented
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field required. 2+ years' experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with various test and measurement equipment is preferred, i.e. Voltmeter, Oscilloscope, Calipers, Micrometers
- Mechatronics/Electro-Mechanical background is preferred
- Manufacturing/assembly experience preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US, visa sponsorship not available
