- Direct hospital financial and regulatory reporting processes that include:
- Financial statement preparation
- Audit coordination
- Membership billing
- Preparation and filing of reports with external agencies
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of hospital accounting systems:
- Including internal control systems and financial practices for reporting entities.
- Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions.
- Lead the associates and hospital practices involved in the accounting processes.
- Relationship building, understanding all functions within Ascension healthcare.
- Cost Analyst experience.
- AR Evaluation, knowledge of the Revenue Cycling Analytics (RCA) preferred.
- Technical and leadership skills with healthcare management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership skills required.
- Accountant preferred.
- Bachelor's degree Accounting, Finance, or Related field.
- 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required in healthcare.
- 5 years management experience.
- 5 years reimbursement/AR valuation experience.
- CPA or MBA preferred.
