As a Procurement Specialist, you'll compile and analyze statistical data to determine the feasibility of purchasing products and establish price objectives.
You'll monitor supplier performance, evaluate opportunities to leverage material acquisitions, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best value while maintaining quality and reliability.
Prepare request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages as needed, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced transactional environment.WHO WE ARE

You are a results-driven professional with a background in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management. You have strong analytical skills and the ability to compile and analyze statistical data to inform decision-making. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 1+ year of experience, or equivalent experience
Demonstrated SAP, FAR and DFARs knowledge
Some negotiation expertise
Excel proficiency
Desired Skills:
Strong analytical/data analytics skills
Demonstrated LMAP expertise
Good organizational skills
Previous government contracting experience
Customer service experience

Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
