Description
We have a unique opening for a motivated Mobile Water Operator.

In this position, you will monitor and adjust the various treatment processes to ensure compliance with all permits and regulatory agencies.

The mobile water operator collects and records data and water samples from their assigned facilities. The operator performs preventative maintenance on equipment as per the operations and maintenance manuals for the contracted facilities. The mobile water operator should have at least a Class C, Subclass 7-12 water treatment license for this role.

The mobile water operator is an independent and well-organized self-starter who can manage his or her schedule to complete assigned site coverage requirements as noted below.


Day-to-day duties will include:

  • Perform critical testing of facility operations, such as chlorine, pH, etc., in order to monitor system condition
  • Perform general preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Maintain complete, accurate, legible records of all phases of facility operations
  • Maintain complete, accurate, legible records of all equipment and plant maintenance
  • Inform Supervisor in a timely manner of plant problems, upsets, plant expansion, repairs, etc.
  • Work conscientiously, adhere to company policies and processes, and be aware of and report safety hazards
  • Be prepared to discuss in a professional manner the plant operations with employer, client, visitors or regulatory personnel
  • Collect required samples, log in samples correctly and accurately, and submit samples to laboratory and review results to ensure permit compliance
  • Operate assigned facilities to meet all regulatory guidelines and responsibilities
  • Project a positive image to operators, clients, regulatory agencies, engineers, etc.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Overtime as required
  • Certificates, licenses, and registrations:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • PA State Water license (or working towards)
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook experience preferred

Pay:
$40, $55,000.00 per year
