Catholic Charities of Baltimore, St. Elizabeth Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, is a 162-bed facility providing high quality long
- and short-term nursing and rehabilitative care. Services include geriatric rehabilitation, long-term care, a 30-bed memory care program, Hospice program, and a full recreational program.
Catholic Charities of Baltimore is currently seeking a
Housekeeper at St. Elizabeth.
Schedule:
Full Time, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. working 5 days a week and every other weekend.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform daily housekeeping maintenance in all areas, per the standard cleaning procedure.
- Service bathroom fixtures (toilets, sinks, etc.) with proper germicidal cleaners. Replenish paper supplies.
- Maintain all departmental equipment in good safe working order and report malfunctions to Director
- Perform complete cleaning of vacant rooms to prepare for new admissions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of one year of housekeeping experience preferred, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- Have an understanding of customer service
- Ability to work every other weekend
