- Provides clinical services and teaching of diagnostic radiology and body imaging, and thoracic imaging. Interprets X-rays in all modalities of diagnostic radiology.
- Mentors and instructs residents, fellows, and medical students in research projects as requested or assigned by department chair.
- Lectures, holds conferences, and participates in related meetings and school functions.
- Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibilities.
- Ensures compliance with HIPPA and billing regulations.
- Experience and demonstrated interest in education of residents and /or medical students Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Board certification by the American Board of Radiology
- Graduated from an approved accredited School of Medicine with an M.D. degree; at least three years post-graduate training in primary care medicine.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas or have the ability to transfer license to Texas.
- Certificate or license for prescribing controlled substances.
