Assistant Facilities Manager


Essential Functions:

Work with Facility Manager to oversee the delivery of maintenance and repair services at assigned locations.

Ensure client satisfaction with delivery of Facility Management services and provide a lead role in monitoring and increasing customer satisfaction.

Interface with occupants of selected properties.

Interface with Client Central Management Services (CMS) facility management regional personnel on critical issues, updates, and provide reports where requested.

Assist in the development and management of annual facility budgets.
Support the Facility Manager in the implementation of short and long-term projects for the client.

Assist in the development and implementation of the annual management plan; accomplish key performance indicators as identified by the Account Manager.

Oversee the appropriate weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reporting appropriate for the client.
Maximize utilization of suppliers, preferred vendors/contractors and the level of spending with Minority/Women/Veteran owned Business Enterprises (M/W/VBE).
Ensure compliance with minimum audit standards.
Develop monthly/quarterly variance reporting on all operating budgets for each property on a timely basis.
Coordinate discussions with selected vendors or suppliers regarding goal setting, performance criteria, and performance review.
Working with JLL Sourcing, manage the maintenance of existing contracts.
Provide shipping/receiving support for local customers.
Manage and maintain small facility management tasks as assigned
Coordinate special events in support of client or JLL

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
Knowledge of real estate, telecommunications, furniture, accounting and building systems helpful
Strong organizational and management skills
Excellent communication skills
Computer proficiency
Able to make light lifts (< 50 lbs) and work on step ladders


Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manage union and non-union engineers and maintenance staff at assigned locations.


Working Environment:


This position requires interaction with the Account Leadership team, Client, Vendors, Operational, and Account Support staff and will be a fast-paced environment consistent with handling multiple demands and priorities.


Minimum Required Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management or property management
Minimum of two years of industry experience required either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant
