Description

The Inpatient Coordinator supports the inpatient case manager to create a seamless transition for hospitalized patients and facilitate customer satisfaction.

Documents in electronic medical record systems as directed.


Reviews daily hospital census and enter any new admissions into electronic referral system and notifies inpatient case manager of admission.

Enters all referral requests and approve referrals that are on the "Approval" list for coordinators.|Documents all pertinent information in required electronic databases.

HMO/Medical Group experience preferred. Certified Medical Assistant preferred. Medical Terminology certificate preferred.
High School Diploma or GEDCertified Medical Assistant preferred. Medical Terminology certificate preferred.
