Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Day Porter to join our team.

The Day Porter will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the facility, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all occupants.


Responsibilities:


  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
  • Perform floor care duties including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and buffing
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks as required
  • Monitor building security and safety by performing lockup procedures
  • Follow cleaning schedules and ensure all areas are cleaned to company standards

Skills:


  • Experience in industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, or custodial work
  • Proficiency in floor care techniques including buffing and maintaining various floor surfaces
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning methods, equipment, and supplies
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage cleaning schedules effectively

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Pay:
From $17.50 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 25 per week
