We're looking for an HR Generalist (or Senior Generalist) to help lead the day-to-day People and Administrative needs of Servbank.

You will interface and partner with local leaders and establish yourself as a go-to person for all the Human Resource needs of our team members.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Work with HR team and play a pivotal role in payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Share ownership of the orientation and onboarding for new team members and implement improvements with the goal of increased engagement, productivity, and company culture immersion.
  • Develop and execute on departmental goals that serve the bank's strategic plan while taking a handson and tactical approach to administer the daytoday HR tasks.
  • Work closely with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide confidential advice and partnership to team members and managers, and work toward simple, swift, and impactful conflict and complaint resolutions.
  • Talent Acquisition: assisting with the recruiting process, working with the Hiring Managers and Recruiters to update job descriptions, advising hiring Managers on process, and developing offers of employment.
  • Promote strong company culture and positive morale.
  • Ensure compliance with HR regulatory and legal requirements and assisting in implementation of and monitoring adherence to polices/procedures.
  • Promote and assist with company events, including but not limited to office events, team builds, and new hire training.
  • Manage offboarding process and conduct exit interviews to identify trends and needs which will help to continuously improve the company's practices.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 23 years of People/HR experience.
  • Experience processing multistate payroll including state and local tax registrations is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or another related field is strongly preferred. PHR or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Power Point) and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Able to offer simple, effective, and sustainable solutions and in situations that require quick decisions.
  • Team player and selfstarter with ability to remain calm when the list gets long.
  • Strong skills in written and verbal communication and critical thinking.
