This position provides administrative support to the Nursing & Health Professions Division as part of the administrative support team for Academic Affairs.


Essential Duties Summary

  • Provide general office support such as greeting and directing faculty/students and visitors;
  • Establish and maintain shared drive folders;
  • Organize and manage academic records for faculty and adjunct instructors;
  • Review, process and manage Student internship, direct and independent contracts
  • Monitor and track weekly budget reports;
  • Enter data in Banner and create reports as needed;
  • Assist in events for students on campus: Spotlight on Students, Student Awards Night,
Commencement;- Handle phone calls, photocopying, mailing, and ordering office supplies for the divisions;

  • Process purchase orders, check requests, reimbursement requests for all the budgets that
the divisions oversee;- Coordinate and maintain systems for collecting data about the programs in each division and

other elements that can inform the decision-making process for the

  • Divisions/Programs/College;
  • Responsible for overseeing the CIS Teaching Assistant Program. This involves signing off on
timesheets, allocating wages and assisting teaching assistants;- Work with other departments on campus to complete daily required tasks have a smooth

workflow.
Required Qualifications

Education

  • Associate's degree, required;
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred.

Experience

  • Relevant clerical and administrative experience;
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and take initiative.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.);
  • Ability to efficiently multitask and prioritize;
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
