- Manage a variety of functions, coordinate activities with various departments.

- Manage and oversee several front-line maintenance crews
- Prepares and conducts monthly team and safety training meetings.
- Troubleshoots and corrects problems.
- Coordinates plant maintenance operations by communicating with direct supervisors, planners and other production, maintenance, electrical, and instrument personnel.
- Maintaining all machinery to ensure its at working standard.
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a 4-year college or university is preferred (Combination of education, training and/or experience will be considered for this position)
- 10+ years related experience and/or training
- Experience in chemical or manufacturing plant highly preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to include, but not limited to Excel, Word etc. required.
- Must have the ability to clearly communicate technical information, concepts and ideas verbally and in writing.
- Must have the ability to identify and resolve problems expeditiously and have strong analytical and interpretation skills while demonstrating good judgment in developing alternative solutions.
- Committed to and drive a group culture that strives to continually improve.
- Excellent organization and planning skills required.
- Must clearly communicate expectations and delegate effectively.
- Lean manufacturing skills and/or certification a plus.

SummaryThis role is responsible for optimizing plant & human performance for specific maintenance unit operations. Is responsible for sharing oversight with maintenance activities including routine and turnaround maintenance throughout the plant.
Works directly with other departments in the plant to help ensure efficient operation and minimize down time within manufacturing/mining operations.
Works with front line supervisors/planners to train/educate them on continuous quality improvement to reduce cost and maximize productivity. Promotes new and innovative thinking around equipment reliability.Key Responsibilities
