    Snap Tech IT is looking for a *vCIO / Strategic IT Advisor* to provide practical, business-focused IT guidance to our managed services clients.

    This role is ideal for someone with strong technical roots in an MSP who enjoys strategy, planning, and client advisory work.

    *Salary:* $100,000–$110,000 per year + bonus opportunities

    *About the Role*As a vCIO / Strategic IT Advisor, you will serve as a trusted technology advisor to a portfolio of SMB managed services clients. Your primary responsibility is to align IT strategy with business goals through planning, analysis, and clear recommendations — all within Snap Tech IT's established MSP standards and platforms.


    You will work closely with internal technical teams and client leadership to ensure technology decisions support growth, security, efficiency, and long-term stability.

    This role is primarily office-based in Cumming, GA, with planned onsite visits as needed. Clients are located in Georgia, Arizona, Northern California, and nationwide.

    *What You'll Do
    • Develop and maintain IT roadmaps aligned with each client's business goals
    • Provide strategic IT guidance to business owners and executive leadership
    • Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable business recommendations
    • Identify infrastructure, security, and process improvement opportunities
    • Recommend technology solutions that align with client needs and MSP standards
    • Support cybersecurity planning, risk management, and compliance initiatives
    • Review support ticket trends and operational data to inform strategic decisions
    • Assist with IT budgeting and long-term technology planning
    • Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to support client initiatives
    • Identify practical AI, automation, and integration opportunities appropriate for SMB environments
    • Maintain accurate client documentation per Snap Tech IT standards
    • Track time and activities using ConnectWise Manage
    *What We're Looking For** *Required:
    • Prior experience working within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment
    • 5+ years of hands-on IT experience with increasing strategic responsibility
    • Strong understanding of:
    • Managed Services delivery models
    • Cloud solutions (Microsoft 365, Azure, etc.)
    • Cybersecurity best practices
    • Backup & disaster recovery
    • Virtualization and infrastructure
    • Experience developing IT roadmaps, technology standards, and long-term plans
    • Comfortable advising SMB leadership teams and business owners
    • Strong documentation and organizational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience working with ConnectWise or similar MSP toolsets preferred
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
