    Job Description and Duties

    Under the general direction of the Presiding Workers' Compensation Judge and the Supervising Workers' Compensation Consultant, the Workers' Compensation Consultant (WCC) assists parties, whether represented by counsel or not, by providing general public information concerning workers' compensation benefits and procedures.This posting may be used to fill future vacancies in accordance with 2 CCR §249.3

    Willing to consider a Workers' Compensation Assistant.

    The Staff Services Analyst classification is being appropriated for this position. If you have list eligibility as a Staff Services Analyst, it will be used to hire you as a Workers' Compensation Assistant. Candidates with Staff Services Analyst eligibility must meet the minimum qualifications for both Staff Services Analyst and Workers' Compensation Assistant.

    Working Conditions

    This position is located:

    455 Golden Gate Avenue, 2nd Floor
    San Francisco, CA

    The incumbent will work 40 hours per week in an office setting equipped with standard office equipment. Air conditioned, in a high-rise building with elevator access, cubicle with natural and artificial lighting. Telework may be offered upon approval by the supervisor and consistent with DIR's Telework Policy.
