Certified Surgical First Assist - No weekends, no holidays, no call requiredAt Physician's Surgery Center of Knoxville, we pride ourselves on innovation and excellence in patient care.

In addition to your technical skills, we expect you to bring a unique creative perspective to the operating room.
Provide traditional surgical assistance, including retracting, suturing, and maintaining a sterile field.Collaborate with surgeons to develop creative solutions to complex surgical challenges.
Stay current with the latest surgical advancements and creative approaches in healthcare.
Inspire and mentor colleagues by sharing your creative insights and techniques.
Adhere to strict infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.
Provide operating room support to physicians and surgeons, including assisting surgeons during procedures and passing require instruments during surgery.
Communicates effectively and courteously with visitors, physicians, and their office staff, patients, and employees. Maintains patient, physician, and employee privacy and confidentiality per policy.Complies with Policies & Procedures and adheres to safety guidelines to ensure a safe work and patient care environment.
Serves as a resource to other members of the health care team.Opportunities for professional growth and development in a creative surgical setting.
No weekends, no holiday and no call required.
#Proven experience as a Surgical Assistant, with a creative portfolio of surgical accomplishments.
Exceptional artistic and creative abilities, with a track record of applying creativity to healthcare.
USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
