    Location Description

    The iconic Arizona Biltmore is located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. The resort was named the "Jewel of the Desert" since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration and has over 700 rooms, over 200,000 square feet in banquet space, and 8 food and beverage outlets (including 2 restaurants, 2 pools, 2 bars, a gelato shop/caf, and in-room dining).

    Overview

    As a Pastry Cook I, you would be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:
    • Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and ensuring production requirements are met for all aspects of banquet, outlet desserts, breads and breakfast pastries
    • Monitoring age and condition of all food items to rotate and maintain highest quality
    • Keep all refrigeration equipment, storage and working areas clean and clutter free, complying with Health Department regulations
    • Read and employ math skills to follow recipes
    This is a full-time position for the overnight shift. You must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

    Qualifications
    • A passion for delivering excellence
    • Keen eye for detail
    • Ability to work in a clean and organized manner
    • Prior pastry experience in a professional kitchen
    • Experience in an upscale / luxury environment is preferred
