    Founding Engineer Opportunity

    About Us

    We are a cutting-edge recruitment firm looking for exceptional talent to join an innovative startup revolutionizing compliance processes for regulated financial firms. Our client offers a dynamic platform powered by AI, streamlining and automating compliance for firms of all sizes, from fintechs to wealth advisors and beyond. The founding team brings experience from Google, hedge funds, and successful previous ventures, contributing to a rapidly growing company backed by prominent investors.

    About the Role

    Position: Founding Engineer

    Location: New York, NY

    Type: Full-Time

    Salary: Up to $200,000

    Experience Required: 4+ years

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement core functionalities of the platform, managing large-scale data and automating compliance tasks.
    • Collaborate with a talented team to design scalable solutions, optimize performance, and ensure platform stability and security.
    • Work autonomously in a flexible, non-micromanaged environment focused on achieving the best outcomes.
    • Contribute to a high-growth startup environment, working closely with a tight-knit team committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

    What Were Looking For:

    • Strong product sense, high ownership, and ability to work independently.
    • Proficiency in React, Django, and/or AWS.
    • Enthusiasm for joining an early-stage startup and working in person.
    • CS degree from a top university (Ivy League, MIT, Stanford) and/or significant experience at a high-growth startup.
    • Familiarity with AI and machine learning algorithms.
    • Proven experience in growing, building, and scaling the codebase of high-growth startups.
    • Senior-level expertise with a demonstrated track record of success.
    • US Citizenship required.

    Nice-to-Haves:

    • Previous experience founding a company.
    • Background in compliance software.
    • Deep knowledge of LLMs for classification tasks.
