Position Summary
The Product Development Technician performs activities to accelerate Product Development (PD) projects through testing, formulation and/or coating trials. The Product Development Technician reports to the Manager - Product Development. The position regularly interacts with other PD groups, facilities and environmental health and safety.

Responsibilities & Duties

Carries out duties in accordance with applicable laboratory, chemical hygiene, and safety Standard Operating Procedures.
Formulation work includes but not limited to dispensing, blending, tableting and coating processes.
Prepares chemical solutions and reagents needed to perform laboratory testing.
Carries out pH, viscosity, loss on drying and other laboratory testing to support PD projects.
Provide operational support for equipment operation, collecting data, preparing batches for stability.
Completes all documentations according to Good Laboratory Practices.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year of prior laboratory / GMP experience is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills required.
Basic math skills required.
Basic Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, required.
Ability to lift and move 50 pounds, unassisted, required.
