At Nells Park Hotel Trier, an apprenticeship means developing yourself, learning a lot, and having fun. Our MOVE UP program for trainees offers trainings, events, external internships, and much more.

For the start of the apprenticeship in August 2025, we are once again offering several apprenticeship positions for Hotel Specialists (m/f/d).

Hotel specialists have excellent career opportunities in all departments of a company:
housekeeping, reception, reservations, sales, restaurant, banquet, or administration.

You have the chance to advance to department head, hotel director, or even become a self-employed entrepreneur in the hospitality industry.

Education requirements:
at least a middle school diploma (with a high school diploma, it is also possible to complete the apprenticeship with an additional qualification in hotel management)

Duration of apprenticeship:
2-3 years, depending on qualifications

Vocational school:
1 or 2 days per week

Training content:
classic training in the company and vocational school, such as welcoming, advising, and assisting guests, preparing and checking dining areas, serving food and drinks, conducting sales conversations, creating offers, managing hotel cash register, planning, organizing, and executing events, developing, implementing, and monitoring marketing measures, planning staff deployment, managing guest correspondence, managing inventory
