Under the direction of Department Director, this administrative position is primarily responsible for the supervision of residential programs Ensure programs' adherence to compliance with state, federal and agency regulations and operating standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist SPDD Director with departments operations including regulatory compliance, budget monitoring, systems utilization, and workforce relations.
- Meets weekly with SPDD Director to review status of SPDD programs
- Communicate regularly with representatives from Quality Assurance, Finance, IT, Maintenance and Human Resources to solicit support to the betterment of SPDD programs.
- Ensure health, safety and the wellbeing of the individuals served is maintained at the highest possible level. Assures compliance with 624 regulations.
- Keep abreast of advances in overseeing governing agencies, i.e., OPWDD, Justice Center and Medicaid to ensure the department is remaining compliant with changing guidelines.
- Monitor systems utilization (Precision Care, IRMA) ensuring appropriate usage and accuracy of entries.
- Provide direction, support and supervision of assigned Unit Administrators and Senior Residence Manager overseeing residential IRA' s.
- Oversee daily program operations including budget monitoring, management of overtime, interviewing, hiring, performance evaluation, discipline and termination.
- Promote Person Centered Planning program development for all individuals served in SPDD programs.
- Promote Direct Support Professionals skills development and training which promotes optimal care for individuals served. Ensure compliance with DSP Code of Ethics and Core Competencies.
- Assist with NYS OPWDD initiatives to promote professionalism and excellence for workforce through the implementation of Core Competencies', provision of trainings, workshops and seminars.
- Provide direction, support and guidance to SPDD employees serving in an investigator capacity during the course of an ongoing investigation. Ensure NYS OPWDD and Justice Center guidelines are followed and timeframes are met.
- Assumes regular on call administrative duties for SPDD programs.
- Participates, coordinates and conducts department training programs for SPDD employees
- Assist with updating and revising department's policy and procedures as needed.
- In the absence of the SPDD Director supervises the department's administrative team and support staff reporting to the Vice President.
- Assists the department director with special projects as deemed appropriate
- Assists the department director with future program development as deemed appropriate.
- Represents agency at local and state meetings reporting findings to department director.
- Any and all other duties as deemed appropriate by agency administration.
About You
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Five years' experience in an OPWDD certified setting in a supervisory capacity
Pay:
$90, $95,000.00 per year
